Almond Milk
This is a very easy recipe for homemade almond milk without all the preservatives and additives. My daughter loves it when I add flavors like unsweetened coco powder, vanilla, and fruits yum!
2 Cups raw almonds, soaked for at least 6 hours up to overnight
6 Cups filtered water or previously boiled
1 tsp. all natural vanilla extract
2 tbsp. agave syrup, or to taste.
1 sheet Cheesecloth
After almonds have soaked for at least 6 hours drain the water and discard. Place the almonds with the filtered water in a blender and blend until smooth, add the agave syrup until desired sweetness is reached. Strain blended mixture using the cheese cloth or a very fine strainer. Keeps 5 days in the fridge… add other flavors if desired mmmm!
